Our Directors
Maria Miller
Theatre Director
Born and raised in Georgia, Maria Miller holds a Bachelor’s degree in Theatre Arts from Clayton State University and a Master’s in Theatre Education from Columbus State University.
Maria is in her fifth year as a high school theatre teacher and her second year here at Chattahoochee High School. Her students have been recognized at the Georgia Theatre Conference, Southeastern Theatre Conference, GHSA One-Act Competition, and the Georgia High School Musical Theatre Awards. Most recently, she directed Our Place which was awarded 4th place at the Regional One-Act Play competition, Mamma Mia!, and A Trip to the Moon.

When she is not teaching, Maria can be found sewing, running, or spending time with her partner, Luke, and their dog, Koda.
Jennie Fabianski
Chorus Director
Jennie Fabianski, a proud Dalton, GA native, is in her 19th year teaching at Chattahoochee High School, where she leads a nationally recognized music program known for consistent superior ratings and high-profile performances. A versatile musician, Jennie is both a vocalist and accomplished trombonist, and has performed with the Georgia Wind Symphony at the GMEA State Conference.
At Chattahoochee, she mentors new teachers, leads professional development, and serves on multiple school and district committees. Jennie has been a four-time Teacher of the Year finalist, and her musicals have earned over 30 Georgia High School Musical Theatre Award nominations, including a 2023 win for Best Orchestra Direction. She has also consulted on Amazon’s Do, Re & Mi, and brought Eric Whitacre to lead the 2020 District Honor Chorus.

Jennie holds a BM in Education and an MA in Conducting from Reinhardt University. Outside of school, she enjoys life with her husband, Kevin, and their three children: Liam, Owen, and Evie.
